What's the most cringe-worthy or embarrassing thing you've done in your CryptoCurrency life so far?

I'll start with mine. I had this dorm mate who was an international student from Thailand and didn't know much about cryptos, he asked me if cryptos were legit and I was like "yeah yeah ofc they are but do your research dude".

Few days later he was furious at me because apparently he put in 500 usd to some Nigerian prince (I think) who said he's from Binance and sent in some fake testimonials claiming he doubles and triples money.

He ended up changing dorms the next semester and avoided eye contact with me every time we saw each other for a while. He got PTSD whenever he heard about crypto. (most of us do right? :').

Nonetheless, now he's working as a big tech intern making solid stacks and fortunately, we laugh about that incident time to time.
