Which Subreddits need to be the next to get Reddit Community Points?

The news today from Reddit is certainly intriguing so I thought we could open up this discussion again.

I don’t think something as big as r/askreddit or r/pics will go for this and a protesting subreddit like r/videos definitely won’t care enough to implement their own RCPs.

I think the communities who will be up for it must be similar to r/cc and fortnitebr: hugely popular but largely isolated from everything else on Reddit.

I also think it won’t be a community category that’s already taken, too much competition. Aside from r/ethtrader which doesn’t have Reddit app support, we have one RCP in gaming and one RCP in cryptocurrency so maybe…a new RCP in sports?

There was also many rumours in the beginning that subs like r/hiphopheads and r/nba would add an RCP but ultimately didn’t pan out due to their communities not liking the proposal. I believe there was also a hiking or biking subreddit that came close too.

That’s gonna be a big barrier as well, because mostly everywhere else on Reddit, cryptocurrency and NFTs are not well liked.
