Why Defi cant go mainstream yet

Crypto universe is hot. Theres a lot of money to be made in it once you understand the ins and outs and yet still theres so many hurdles for the average investor.

1. It is complicated

Lets say u want to start trading stocks. U go into Shithood app, deposit via credit card, skrill, bank transfer, etc and u buy a stock in 2 clicks. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Defi…. U need to buy a certain coin for that project ure interested, lets call it NBN, u need to go to shitnance, make sure u buy the NBN PEP35, not the PEP 3.5, send it to a wallet, whats this seed phrase again? Then go to gorillaswap, exchange the tokens, make sure u dont get the wrong scam token, damn its hard. Oh wait, shitnance is not available in my country, so u need to find another exchange, get the NBN PEP3.5, bridge it to PEP35, find the Petapask wallet, why is there so many different networks? Epereum, Paligan, Apalache, where the heck is that Shitnance Dumb Chain? I need to added manually, how?? Did I just send my money somewhere else? Yep, u did, and now its lost forever.

We have already lost at least half of the people interested.

2- Fees

Shitnance is available in my country, great! Ive also watched 4 tutorials on how to use Petapask, great. Im familiar with Gorillaswap, awesome. Lets get some coins! Wait, it says one NBN is 485$, why are they selling to me at 497$? Nevermind. Im over it, buy! 2% credit card fee, WTF!! Lets buy usijg P2P, they are only selling at 499$, wait, am I getting scammed already?

Lets check how to withdraw. Okay,I can withdraw to my credit card only. Wait, not available in my country, so… I can buy but not sell? Whats the point? Lets check the P2P. They are buying at 479$. Great. Fuck. This is shit.

What about that mobile phone app, DontTrustMe wallet? 7% overpriced + 3.5% fees. Fuck that. Im out

3- Scams

What can I say about scams? Theyre everywhere, rugpulls, liquidity depletion, Ponzi schemes, u name it and its there.

Thats scary. Fuck that!

And in my opinion this is why Defi cant go mainstream. It needs to be easier.
