In the video linked below it is explained why bitcoin system is not a payment system, but messaging system similar to SMS or Viber. It is also explained that bitcoin is not money but a message, a numeric message. Finally, it is explained that bitcoin wallet is not a wallet but a messaging application. That's because bitcoin system doesn't transfer ownership rights on some type of property, like payment systems do. But it only transfers data. So buying bitcoin for dollars is like when you receive an SMS message containing a number and give dollars to the sender. In that wat, you gave up your ownership of debt that the US banks owe you(dollars), but you haven't got the ownership rights on some other type of property. Only numeric data was sent to you via SMS. Bitcoin system works the same. It sends you numeric data and doesn't make you the owner of some type property, like payment systems do. So what is the reason you personally consider the bitcoin system a payment system and not a messaging system like SMS or Viber?
