would love to SPEND Bitcoin! need advice on buying Airbnb gift cards

I thought it's time to finally try using Bitcoin like a real currency.

I want to buy Airbnb gift cards for myself to use. Have people had good experiences? Can you give recommendations for vendors? Is the process fast, without bureaucracy?

I'm confused by this though. It lists a number of countries. But Bitcoin is international. Does it matter which country I pick?

The Airbnb site says:

Currently, gift cards can only be purchased for someone within the same country or region as you, and the recipient must have a valid payment method within that country.

What does this mean for crypto? Does it just mean that the gift card country has to match your home address in Airbnb for it to work?

I just want to be sure it isn't a problem if I stay in a non-listed country? Have people had difficulties?
