Wrong network transfer

Hi everyone I am really new to the crypto world. So I transfer my NFT from my account to metamask account. And it seems that I should be transferring on a polygon mainnet network and I forgot to add the network and it was on etherum mainnet network only. Now the transfer is in still in process for over two days. Now I have added the polygon mainnet but still no luck. Is there anyway I could get it back? Thanks
