Binance API Partial Fills

Apologies for what may be a very basic question. What happens following a limit buy order that only partially fills with respect to reporting additional fills. I understand that if I don't cancel the limit order the remaining portion may fill if the price hits the limit amount. But when it does eventually fill (assuming it does), does Binance send a message that more of the order has filled? Or do I have to query Binance? or rely on a user data stream? Thanks.
