Can a shady USB cable used for a hardware wallet steal anything ?

All Cryptocurrencies

Hello,

I need to use an extension cable for my hardware wallet, and I bought a random one on Amazon.

I'm wondering if those "super hacker" cables can do anything bad?

i think maybe the worst could be the copy/paste changing the adress ? i don't even think so as it's stored in the OS ?

what do you think ?

i think i have more chance to find a random seed full of bitcoin than to buy a malicious cable made specifically for my brand of hardware wallet but hey, the more you know...

Thank you, have a really great day and happy bull run

i wish you the best

Jo
