How can we spead information and teach how to use Bitcoin?

Most people I know don't know much, I try to explain to many that seem interested when they ask me. I genuinely think I scare them off mostly due to the whole "keep your Bitcoin off exchanges" thing.

One close friend of mine just said "I just want to set it and forget it."

Like a bank, put it into savings. But I explain that's what it is with no middle man. He thinks the memorizstion of words or keeping it on paper is too complex.
