How do you “break the ice” with curious people that aren’t investing in Crypto?

In various situations I find myself talking about crypto to those that aren’t really “sold” on investing. Many times the conversation is brought up to me, as they have heard that i invest in crypto. so they are approaching it as more of a discovery, but more apprehensive about putting their money into it.

One of thing I like to use as a counter to their lack of understanding is that back in the late 50s a company created what is now known as “VISA”, but when it first came out nobody really grasped the concept, there was no infrastructure and they attempted major pushes to get a mainstream adoption. It took many years, and lots of fine tuning but they finally got there. Fast forward to today, how many people have multiple credit cards in their pockets??” this usually gets the wheels turning and they start asking the typical questions… How do I invest, how would I get my money out, should I buy DOGE(just kidding), how safe is my money…

Since this works for allot of my situations, I ask you… what do you usually use to “break the ice” with those that aren’t educated in investing in crypto??
