It's been about 5 days since I started investing in Crypto and I have made my first and the worst mistake so far.
- I have sent ETC to ETH wallet (from an "Upbit" wallet to a "Bybit" wallet).
- I spoke to Upbit customer support and they advised me to contact Bybit for this as the transaction has already been completed.
- I spoke to Bybit customer support and they advised me that they will try to recover but cannot guarantee it. It will take around 10 business days.
Well, I've learned my first lesson that Ethereum Classic and Ethereum are two diffeerent blockchain. Bybit told me that they do not support ETC blockchain and it is unlikely to be recovered.
I was wonndering if anyone had a similar situation and was able to recover their fund?
