We all know what kind of a prestige status it is to be the biggest Bitcoin holder and we would actually think that that person would be the one to believe the most in Bitcoin. The US government themselves, yes the one entity that has very regularly said how Bitcoins is “worthless“, “risk to the system“ and what not, are actually the largest holder of it with 205k BTC ($6B)

The reason for that is also quite simple, through Bitcoins history the US government has been seizing Bitcoins from very early on. For example, we all know how they seized 51k BTC from Silk Road and are now looking to off-load it soon. Similarly, they have also been seizing from the Bitfinex hack and other ones.

This is truly ironic and it is even more ironic that the biggest Bitcoin holder is actually looking to get rid off it. Right now their BTC is worth $6B and it may easily be double or triple of it, but by selling them the US government will miss out on a lot of money, which I am happy about.
