Michael Saylor, Government Control, and Bitcoin’s future…

I love the concept of BTC, and I’m trying to learn about it as I have started collecting small amounts since the crash last year, but I am wondering what happens with this beautiful decentralized currency when governments start force using CBDC’s to control the economies, eliminating paper fiat, and try to put bans on or lockdown the use of BTC? I don’t understand this part yet. How will we be able to use BTC if the government decides to make it illegal and it isn’t adopted as the mainstream currency?

I don’t have much knowledge of this yet, I am learning little by little, but would really love to hear the explanations of some of you who know or have thought this through…
