My general rant on staying quiet about how much crypto you own

Through all markets, there's a desire for 99% of us to say "I told you so" or "look at how much I have"-we all seek validation...for example, I was mocked at dinners with past social groups...so of course I have the itch to say It[for now] was a good decision. I'm here to tell you to fight that itch, to stay quiet, for the following 7 reasons:

1. Safety. This goes to all $/assets. People knowing you have is a safety risk--and is x5 with crypto. Why? People can't easily run into your house and threaten you with force to hand over your apple stock. Crypto? click that button.
2. Work/income: your boss thinks your investments went up? All the more reason to pay you less, not give you a bonus, especially if times are tough. Johnson? He's fine. He's got like $50k of crypto I heard and did really well. He won't need this promotion.
3. Resentment: it's very unnatural to find friends who are 100% happy for your success, whether it be in crypto or not. My close friend got me into crypto but went away and is on the outside looking in...it's hurting our friendship, not helping it.
4. Lifestyle inflation: I think a lot of people in crypto are going to learn this the hard way just like I did in 2021. Please, for the love of all that is holy, follow this formula: small house/condo, investment property or core btc/eth holding, then sports car. Yes, I love a Bentley Supersports as much as the next guy, but I cannot buy it until my next property cash flows. Which leads me to 5.
5. Humility will lead you to being richer through better connections...it's not going to lead you meeting the RIGHT people by saying: oh yeah bro, I made all my money on crypto.
6. Social part 2: don't attract the wrong attention. You will attract people that will use you, not care for you, by blabbing about your crypto riches. You will attract people that make your life a living hell by talking about your crypto riches.
