Some people don't invest in crypto not because it is crypto but because it is investing. Not everyone want to invest.

Many crypto investors think people don't invest in crypto, because of crypto. It is true in many cases, we all know the situation, no need to repeat anything. But that is not the only reason. Some people are simply against investing or even saving money. Either they don't want to do it or don't care.

Financial education in the society is on very low level. Around 51% of americans have saved less than 3 months wage, that include 25% of americans that have zero emergency savings. Hard to even think about investing if you have no savings. And USA still have much more investors than other countries, around 55% of americans own stocks ( most of the cause of 401k plan). I am european and in europe a lot less people invest. Difference is that average american, even if he invest have huge debts. According to often quoted statistic if you are debt free and have $10 you are richer than 50% of americans. In europe we invest less, but at least we rarely have debts. It is partialy cultural thing, in europe debt is viewed as very negative thing and unfortunately investing is also viewed as thing for the rich. In rest of the world, it is much worse. In first world we still have much more opportunities and sources to start investing. In third world it is much harder to save anything and even harder to invest properly. You need not only education, but also bank account, access to internet and money.

Stocks, properties, gold&silver and many other investments exist. If some people don't care about them why do you think they will just care about crypto? It is waste of time for them as all other "boring money talking". They live life where there is no place for things like investments or long term financial goals. Everyone of us know people like that. Overall maybe 15% or 20% of humans invest and crypto won't change it much. Only reason why we will get more crypto users will be mass adoption. When crypto will be used everyday it will gain popularity and will be popular like bank accounts. Almost everyone have bank account, even if the my know nothing about finances, cause it is hard to live without one. But most of people will never be investors, they may use it, buy and sell, but only cause it will be only or easiest way for them.

If some person you know doesn't save money, is financially irresponsible and dislike investing you will probably not convince them into crypto. You need to start with educating them step by step. Ofc it won't work with everyone. I know some people that are impossible to convince to any rational financial decisions so I just ignore them. They will probably regret in 20/30 years but it will be to late.

If someone is against investing in crypto check if they are actually against crypto. Maybe crypto is for them just another boring money discussion or even more boring investing talking and that is their problem. If they are that type better to ignore them if they don't want to listen.
