Thoughts on other level 2 chains compared to 2.0

I wanted to dive into discussion about Cardano, Algo vs ETH 2.0 to get an understanding of what others think about this. Cardano won’t have smart contracts until August, but is operating PoS native and transactions and fees are much lower. Devs look like they’re porting to cross chain interoperability to Cardano, which could stoke take away from ETH. Is anyone considering other chains as the ETH competition heats up? There’s plenty of media hype on ETH, and more coming for other chains. Besides the obvious circulating supply of Ada being so much larger, and hence, fees lower, market cap ceilings...how are others thinking about this?
