transactions stuck

so let's suppose that I want to send 0.001 eth to A and I put 1Gwei as fee, I transmit the transaction and then I want to send 0.01 eth to B, but don't care about the first transaction, do I need to wait the confirmation(or cancellation by paying more fees in eth) of the first transaction to do the second transaction? (so basically my address gets flagged until I pay the fees to cancel the previous transactions that are not confirmed right?)
