Questioning my eth thesis

Starting to question my ethereum thesis tbh. It's so early in terms of actual "need to have" usage that a faster cheaper Solana could just swamp it. That leaves brand recognition and speculative institutional investment as its current primary value proposition which I don't like. That means soooo much is resting on those devs smoothly and quickly transitioning the network to pos. They must be feeling ALOT of pressure right now
