Binance to Buy Voyager

So we've just learned that it appears Binance, specifically BinanceUS will be purchasing Voyager. So here's the deets. Binance will pay 1 Billion for Voyager, plus they're basically throwing in 20 Million extra as a tip. They did announce the goal is to return money to Voyager customers ASAP. It's not clear whether Voyager will continue to exist or whether customers will just be ushered over to become Binance.US customers.

The deal needs to close by April 18 to go through, though there is a 1 month extension built in. It's being said Binance and CZ are doing this to proven they're solvent, though we saw FTX basically do the same thing act like they are rescuing the industry just before going under themselves. No mention of whether customers will have an opportunity to vote on this like the previous potential FTX takeover but I'm guessing most people just want to get whatever they can as soon as possible and put this behind them.
