What do you think crypto is going to do with your life?

For starters I am going to share what crypto did to my life.

I just ended my bachelors in computer science in 2020 and was working as an internie when covid came and everyone was sent home. I couldn't apply for jobs as everything was onsite. I explored freelancing as a web developer and still doing it.

As a jobless and freelancer I had a lot of time to explore. I was on Facebook where I watched a video of a well know media personality talking about crypto. I joined their Facebook paid group that gave spot signals and made a few hundred on my 2000$ investment back in 2021 bull run.

Everything went south from the bear after that. I HODLed some of the ALTs till BTC was down to 30k. The guy told everyone it was going to 15k and its a bull trap when Elon and Jack Dorsey had a podcast on Bitcoin and it went up to 35k.

I panic sold on 30k and was waiting for 15k which never came. I started buying when BTC was 60k and there were no chances of it coming down. I recovered some of my losses and was 2k short on my initial 6k investment. It started going down from 69k in nov 21. I HODLed this time and didn't panic sold. A lot of YouTubers were telling its just a correction and BTC was going to 75k then 100k. I HODLed until july 22 when it was 15k and I was down 500$ on my 10k investment. I then sold and started future trading on Matic. I got liquidated on a short on matic and lost it all.

I can say that during these 2 years of my journey in crypto it has been mentally challenging and I couldn't focus on anything. As I see it must be for a lot of others who lost in LUNA and FTX.

I was saved by both of them but still lost it all. I have 0 hopes of getting my 10k back. I'd be losing more I think in the name of recovery. When had only lost 2k I said to myself I need more investment and DCAed and added 4k more which also I lost.

That has been my journey in crypto and has affected a lot of my life. I'm going to focus on my dev career more now and leave crypto for good.
