As we speak, Reddit is trying to implement the community points across the whole platform, which is awesome!
Way to go Reddit, we love you!
But, when I see people immediately selling (which is against the rules btw) their tokens, I remember one mechanism that always worked in history... "Firsts serve the most."
If it's not obvious what it means, let me explain with 2 examples from history:
The Dutch East India Company
Our first example occurred way, way long ago, 1602 to be precise. The Dutch East India Company, or VOC, is the first company that ever used stocks to get funded, yes its the company that started it all.
The other intresting thing about VOC, is that it's the BIGGEST company that has ever existed in history! How big? $7 Trillion to be exact, or 3,5X what Apple currently is. Of course, there were other reasons as well but it being the first definitely helped him to be the giant that it was.
Bitcoin (Can you imagine it?)
Let's hit the home, shall we? The BTC is the first CryptoCurrency in history, and even though there have been far complex and advanced Coins came after it, (I.E ETH) BTC was/is/will always be the king, cause it was the first to do so...
